We’re working on it - and here’s the truth: to bring articles of impeachment to the House floor, you need 218 votes. There are 213 Democrats. We’d need at least 5 Republicans to join us. Right now, we don’t have them. That’s the math. Until then, we use every tool we’ve got to hold him accountable.

Hey Matt…I want nothing more than to get this man out of office. But impeachment hearings require an investigation, articles, and a House majority vote. We don’t have the numbers. We will need R votes. That said, we’ll fight with every tool we have to hold him accountable.

🚨UPDATE: Rümeysa Öztürk has now suffered three separate asthma attacks while in DHS custody.

She has not received her required asthma medications—a violation of her fundamental right to medical care.

This is cruelty, it is neglect, and it is a damning moral and legal failure.

Not getting much attention, but the Senate GOP is about to start voting - to make sure banks can charge higher overdraft fees. Seriously.

Good time to let your Senators know what you think of that.
