Last time we played with Sun Machine , we really enjoyed watching their performance. Our 2nd show of 2026 is a week today & it will undoubtedly be a great night. Loud, live and electric with several songs from “Vox Populi” getting a debut airing. Boom! Shake the Frome!

Major update from Mooncalf Studio -

A productive day yesterday, uploading final drum / keys tracks, recording bass and getting vocals down on the last theee songs. We have one session left (mainly polish, rather than starting anything new) and then our next album is done.

Last of the preproduction for the next record. Expect an announcement this month. In the meantime, it’s Bandcamp Friday today so now is the time for anyone to plug any gaps in their Deadlight Dance back catalogue. 🙏

Reflecting upon 2025, all the shows felt special. We released “Gloss” & spent time writing.

2026 will be great. We’re just 2 or 3 sessions away from completing our next album, “Vox Populi” & we aim to get it out early ‘26.

Having powered down for the year, we just wanted to say, however you spend the next few days, have a good one! 🖤🎶🎉

Today marks 36yrs since Nick & Tim first shared a stage. We used to rehearse in a mobile classroom (pictured above) & performed at Steadman building, St. John’s school (below) back in 1989.

That band broke up in 1990 & for all the flaws of that performance, there was a feeling that we had began.

We’re delighted to announce that we have teamed up with Elastic Stage to re-release “…Beyond Reverence” on vinyl for the first time.

Always recorded with the two sides of vinyl in mind, we again worked with Haunting The Atom on the expanded sleeve art.

Thanks to everyone who came down last night to The White Bear for our end of year show. Great to see so many familiar faces. It was our first time there and officially it won’t be our last! Thanks to Georgie and her team for helping make us feel so welcome.

Back at Mooncalf working on the new album today. This session was focused on new original songs “Theatre of the Absurd” and “Lachrymal”.

Just 4 days away. The White Bear (before Christmas) in Devizes kicks off at 5pm and will be 2 hours of originals and covers. Let’s end of year in style. #goth #postpunk

Work continues on our next album. A really productive day under the watchful eyes and ears of Nick Beere at Mooncalf. We can really see it taking shape now and are very happy with the results so far.

We’re so happy with the way the new record is shaping up. We’re busy gearing up for our final show of 2025, The White Bear in Devizes next Sunday.

Finally, we’re hoping to make an announcement next month that might be of interest to a few of the more hardcore supporters of the band.
