Got my new prints in!! Super excited.
Im holding off on a shop update until after Animate Raleigh but expect one in a couple weeks!

Improvement is a bit of a tricky word for me. I want to improve yes! But I also know that a "line go up" mentality can be bad. Its about finding a good balance and, at the end of the day, feeling like I accomplished something I set out to do or to learn.

I care a little, but I also have to remind myself that not all growth is visible, and that, sometimes, I spend time experimenting with things that don't pan out and thus revert back to my "old style". Which can feel like no growth happened, when some actually did!

Turns out jinti just needed to touch the cat fountain and it works again.

Today has been such a wash and im feeling so let down about it.

I have stuff I gotta do but the motivation to do it is just GONE.

Hm I think the cat fountain might be broke for real this time. Cleaned it like normal and it still isn't....fountaining....tried to deep clean and same issue.

I was just thinking about how I havent done an art trade in so long, and maybe I should change that!

Finished my two crochet projects and started another. But this time with a fun twist: I have limited yarn.

WOE I have a really cool cake of red - black ombre yarn thats either worsted or light worsted weight and I want another cake or two so I can make something with it

One of my goals this year was to love art again. To draw more for me. To reignite that passion to have it be more than just a job. And I'm finally starting ro see the fruits of that goal. We have a long way to go bit the progress is happening!

-I'm getting better about it. My brain used to just be "draw blorbo with the mirror tool over and over" but now its different outfits and poses and actual scenes!! And it may still be the same blorbo but there is growth happening. And that, more than anything, is exciting to me.

Learning to draw for myself again has been a process, I'm going to be completely honest, but its also been very... freeing? Satisfying?

It makes the good brain chemicals to draw things for me even if im out of practice. Sometimes it feels weird. Sometimes I feel like I should do more. But-

I made a sweater but I am Shy(tm) about posting pics of myself on here so just know I crocheted a sweater in a week and I am excited about it.

Unfortunately I do NOT have the space for a knitting machine. Im better off learning to do it by hand lol

Also ive seen that madness. Its siren call will not sway me.

God dammit I don't WANT to learn to knit just to make some bitchen cowls and mats.
