The gunplay is top notch, the runner shells add a layer of complexity to fire fights, the build crafting even at lowest gear levels is fun. And then you just wrap it all in a package that is dripping with aesthetic and lore and great sound and music. It's just SO good. #Marathon 2/2

#Marathon is genuinely the most fun I've had with a multi-player game in years. And I'm a casual PvP player.

The thing that I love most about Marathon is the lore & its Transhumanist themes. In game we have the runner shells, essentially classes, but in the lore these are synth bodies that the players consciousness is uploaded into, allowing them to brave the environs of Tau Ceti IV...and die repeatedly.

Can't wait to get my grubby mitts on Tau Ceti IV and all its loot.

Resident Evil: Requiem has been out for 5 days, and I've beaten it 3 times. It's just SO good. As it sits right now, it's definitely my game of the year. There's lots of cool stuff coming this year, but I don't know if anything will be able to top just how great RE9 is.

I'd give up a Firefly reboot if it meant that. But if he's not attached AND we get some Asian cast members/crew/writers/showrunners (because the setting is heavily influenced by Chinese culture) then let's fucking go, take me out to the black! 2

Listen, I'm a HUGE Firefly fan. One of the biggest. I love that show and movie DEEPLY. So if Nathan Fillion and Co are teasing some kind of reboot I want it to happen...but it has to happen sans Joss Whedon. That man should never work in Hollywood again. 1

I fucking LOVE this. Ugh I love everything about this game from the lore to aesthetic. I can't wait for launch.

Listen, there are PLENTY of things to criticize Nintendo for. But saying the Switch 2 is a bad system with no games is ridiculous and false.

I hope the team at @bungie.net & @marathonthegame.bungie.net knows they've got something special here. Don't listen to loud vocal minority. There's a community waiting for this full release.

It's not perfect and I know lots of people have complaints or are shitting on it. But I've been having a blast. This is an extraction shooter that feels like it was made for me specifically. From the lore and world design to the loot loop and everything in between it checks all my boxes.

The gun play is stellar, the music is fantastic, and that art design *chef's kiss*. The game has a steep learning curve, though, and that may turn lots of players off. The UI/UX design is also not for everyone.

I've spent about 20 hours with the #Marathon server slam, and I'm absolutely loving it. I'm a very casual PvP player. But Marathon just clicks with me. The PvP engagements are tense and frenetic. The PvE is not to be taken lightly either, as you can get overwhelmed quickly.

I just wanted to say that I know there's a lot of noise online right now about #Marathon. But I am genuinely LOVING my time with it.The art, the aesthetic, the music, the lore, the gun play, the loot loop, and the runner shells. I love it all. There are lots of us that love it @bungie.net. 💜

I couldn't stop playing, even when there were several moments that scared the absolute shit out of me. I loved every second of my time with this game, and to me, as I said above, it is the DEFINITIVE Resident Evil experience. 10/10. No notes. 4/4

The game tells a full circle story that I won't spoil, but as a lifelong fan of the series, getting to go to back Raccoon City all these years later with Leon was emotional. The story ties up so many threads from across the series & it pushes both of our heroes to their absolute limits. 3/4

Playing as Grace is genuinely terrifying, she is the most relatable protagonist the series has ever had. On the inverse, stepping back into the boots of Leon feels so fucking awesome. His sections are action horror oriented as opposed to survival horror, but both of them are SO fun to play. 2/4

I rolled credits on #ResidentEvilRequim tonight. Holy. Shit. What an incredible game. I've played every single entry in the series. This is, in my opinion, the definitive Resident Evil. It takes everything I love about 2,3 & 4 and combines it with everything I loved about 7&8. 1/4

I don't care what anyone says, Marathon looks awesome. I absolutely love the aesthetic and the vibes. I can't wait to dive into the Server Slam tomorrow.
