We as a country will save nothing. Federal employee salaries make up just 4% of the budget—roughly $271 billion. So even if every federal worker were fired, that’s the maximum you’d save. Meanwhile, the U.S. House GOP has released a budget that raises the debt limit by $4 trillion.

Links to various contact pages for federal agencies to express support of federal workers! I don't feel much patriotism these days but am ready to go full mama bear seeing how my friends and family who are federal employees are being treated by the new administration.

And of course the military is exempt from the streamlining.
