If you're a business developing new products, are you sure Microsoft isn't going to let copilot ingest your data because they super promised they wouldn't? Are you willing to take that risk over spending a few thousand dollars on a local NAS and/or server?

Honestly, I think AI hurts public cloud way more than this issue. The central idea behind trusting Microsoft, Google or any of these cloud storage providers is that your data is safer with them. But if they use their AI to ingest your data, that can show up in some odd places.
