USSR was pretty conservative, but it was at its time the best place for woman to live, the equality was pretty much achieved.

PRC never joined UN. The founding member is ROC on Taiwan.

USSR issued numerous times for UN to properly add PRC into UN, but instead UN just replaced ROC with PRC directly.

And Russia is a legal successor of USSR in all international treaties and organizations.

Like it or not, USSR joined UN as a confederation, and after collapse all legal, financial and international responsibilities were voted by CIS to be transfered to Russia.

So did the Soviet Union.

Yet Britain today is not just a legal successor - it is still the very same entity that comitted those crimes.

Also entire world accepted it and it is a fact now.

There are no states that consideres otherwise. Even Ukraine recognizes Russia as successor of USSR since they voted to recognize it as such in 90s and never recinded the vote.

Then by your logic none of former soviet states should be really in there at all. Ukraine today considers itself as inheritor of Ukrainian People Republic, not a UN member of Ukrainian SSR.

Issue is, that USSR as an entity was represented both by USSR tag and by 2 SSRs - Belarus and Ukraine.
