Most folks know me for my bird of paradise designs and leaf designs, but lately I've also been trying out new, larger forms that feature colorful New Orleans houses.

A whale-shaped mug where the whale's tail forms a handle. Half of the mug body is white like a whale's belly, the rest is dark blue, with a few barnacles and whale eyes and flippers near the bottom. To drink from the mug your lips meet the whale's, which form the lip of the mug.

My name is Glynnis, and I love a leaf motif, a critter, and a splash of color.

I've been playing with clay since around 2013, and make work out of a shared private studio in New Orleans.
