West Virginia governor to deploy National Guard troops to US capital West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey is deploying 300 to 400 National Guard troops to the District of Columbia at the request of the Trump administration, the governor's office said in a statement on Saturday.

Gov Morrisey’s plan to send the WV Guard to DC disrespects those who serve by using them as political pawns and hurts communities recovering from flooding who need their help.

If he gives a damn about flood victims or the Guard, he should immediately call them back.
