I agree. There are many constructive ways for the electorate to shape the policy positions of their preferred candidates. But it only works if the candidate is victorious. As for VP Harris, it's unfair to characterize her support for Gaza as non-existent. At any rate, it is what it is.

Purity tests that make it seem as if there's little or no difference between the candidates is a problem in both parties but most disappointing when it occurs on the left, IMHO
