The first time I've gone to a movie opening night in years, and I loved it so, so much. No spoilers, but there's a perfect line Clark has about Krypto that is just everything I love about the character. Can't wait to watch this again.

FYI this is, in fact, a reference to NADDPOD. Shoutout to the 2 crew.

In the 20 years I've been working in comics, I've heard a lot of tips, tricks and advice-- but some of it I had to learnt he hard way!
So, here are 20 things that I've learned that I wish I had been told when I was first starting out (but wasn't!).

For anyone feeling down about not advancing in the WT contest, just know that this doesnt have to be the end. I lost one of their contests back in 2020. A few years later I was working on my first WT Original. The road to success is long and winding, but the only way to progress is by keeping at it.

Absolutely viable, but can be a bit difficult to really get going. I see it succeed most often with romance titles that provide a NSFW option. Less so with other genres, like action and whatnot.

Yeah, way too many cases of ratebombing.

Reviews should exist. Shout out to some of my favorite creators who are movie reviewers. But they do that on their own platform, where they cultivate an audience based on their taste.

I shouldn't see a Rotten Tomatoes score plastered on the screen when I sit down at the theater. Likewise for here.

Maybe a controversial opinion?? But I'm all for getting rid of ratings. I like reviews, but I don't think they should be attached to the product itself like it has been. Let readers form their own opinions, uninfluenced by some random number aggregated from readers they may or may not relate to.
