I grew up with dogs and im 100% a dog person. I also really like cats. He's my first cat.
Am I just not a cat person? Do I just not like him? Im confused and lost. It made me depression alot worse and I started with alot of negative, dark thoughts again bc I should be loving him.

Don't feel anything. Even when we cuddle and he purrs. Im the biggest animal lover normally and absolutely adore any animal. What is happening? Is it my autism and routine changes and new environment?? Do I just not like him? Its eating me up with guilt cause I wanted him so bad. And now... idk

The most annoying thing is the food. Its so bad. You cannot eat in the same room as him. We keep trying with the no and putting him on his cat tree.... but he just rushes back. So we lock him outside the living room when eating. Idk what to do... and it keeps getting worse 😵‍💫

Im actually struggling a bit with my new cat. While I adore him its so hard cause im very sensitive to changes and new things and with him my whole day is diffrent. He also constantly jumps up to our food and he wakes us up at night 🙈 im hoping it will get used to it with time but oh boy....

Atlas is the sweetest cat ever! He's so cuddly, friendly and gentle. We picked him up and he immediately was cuddly seconds after coming out of his crate 🥺

Sorry for being gone! We visited my family this week and just got back. Now, we are preparing ALOT for the arrival of our cat! Tomorrow, im getting my blood taken, and I have a very strong phobia of needles. Im so scared for that but so excited for the cat 🙈

I have a huge phobia of my throat closing up/shortness of breath and its a rare side effect but ... its there 😭 whenever I take new meds I immediately get a panic attack because im so scared my throat might close 🫣 and everyone thinks im insane for feeling this way

Oh and I gotta drive with the train for 3 hours tomorrow and my anxiety is KICKING.
I just hope I get through it without any pain or panicattack🤞

Has anyone else a huge fear of side effects when taking new meds? Like I only take meds when I desperately need them 🙈 its such a dumb fear but after how I reacted (twice btw with diffrent ones) to my anxiety meds its so scary. I had such a bad reaction 😵‍💫
