Take a demagogue and give him immunity from prosecution and accomplices who refuse to impeach him. He will direct his minions to break any and all laws without fear of prosecution and a promise of a pardon if it comes to that. It was a grand experiment in democratic republic while it lasted.

Our president is convincingly demonstrating that he has the firm delusion this is the 19th century. 25th amendment might actually become inevitable at some point.
