Have to say so far have not felt many beneficial results from California Rocket Fuel. I mean, I slept 9 and a half hours last night but not very deeply. And I have clear mirtazapine side effects, mouth is dry and I’m a bit 😵‍💫🥴

Well done! Also, good reminder for me, must check vax dates for mum&dad and if I can take them. I’ll get flu vax at work on next Monday 👏🏻

Yesterday (thursday) it was unseasonably warm and sunny, but you can see that sun doesn’t rise very high anymore (the second pic was taken at 30 minutes past noon).

Since I sleep very fitfully (I keep waking up a zillion times a night) she prescribed me mirtazapine. I’ve taken venlafaxine for ten years and apparently it and mirtazapine are a good combination if someone has treatment-resistant depression or depression-related sleep issues. =>

Apparently the machines are fine, there’s a plumbing issue in a valve below the sink and it’ll take couple of weeks for the new part to arrive. Tbf the ”coffee” tastes awful anyway, the only one I can drink is cappuccino because it has a lot of artificial ”milk” in it.

Keeping fingers crossed! Most of our staff is on floor 4, where the machines don’t work. There’s working one on floor 2, so we must weigh options: bother going down 2 floors for ☕️ or bring own instant coffee or option 3, bring your own ground coffee (there IS a Moccamaster coffee maker).

IKR! Imagine several dozen undercaffeinated government empoyees 🤭It’s mayhem!

Autumn is my least favourite season because of days like today: Rain, clouds so low they’re stuck to treetops, all the leaves have fallen and trees are bare. There’s zero sunshine and gets dark REALLY early. All that is green in summer has turned brown and smells rotten.

Ya know, the sort of autumn in this pic is fine. Beautiful orange and yellow trees, sun, even frost. BUT.

It’s 5 pm and dark already. Thanks, I hate it.
