Favourite comics so far this year: Losing Control; Mary Sue; The Last Starship; Muppets Noir. And Flash Gordon concluded very well before the relaunch.

I’m amazed at how successful this attempt to convey Le Carre’s style in comics has been. Deeply serious, deserving of a place in the canon. Such a difficult thing to do.

I felt the same thing when Lower Decks came out. Happy about the shift on both counts.

Me too. It took me a few episodes. I'm generally generous about this franchise. I surprising love SNW. It's so goofy sometimes. The Glee episode, for example. Anson Mount is perfect as Pike. (Loved him in Hell of Wheels.)

I need more "As You Know, Bob" to show the Alpha Sector as it is now.

'The Burn' seems like an MCU plot device to start some things fresh. Cool, but I would like to know at least as much about the state of the world as the students in the show do.

Anecdotally I'm seeing similar. I hope that's the case.

When Starfleet Academy started, the feeling I got from social media was a few fans and a whole bunch of grumpy old gits. Now it feels like the balance has shifted enormously in favour.

Just watched Starfleet Academy 5 and of course I loved it. The adoration this show has for DS9 is wonderful. And Tawny Newsome can really make characters sing.
