I just learned Luigi Mangione has gotten so much public support his legal team had to put up an FAQ about sending him mail.
Immediately went to it and scrolled down to find out he asks not to be sent more books because he's not allowed to have very many.
Shame. I bet he'd like OVDT.

When I was growing up there was this standard turn of phrase I'd see both in media and in person, where somebody would politely ask if they could do something and the other person would say "it's a free country!" by way of assent.
Just randomly occurred to me I haven't heard that one in a while.
