Yeah I’m sure I just need to actually give it the proper time sink. I feel like the people that started Isaac after there was already like 1000 items in that game, there’s just so much and not a real adequate learning curve persay

Tried out Mewgenics but not really sure how I feel about it. Total information overload on screen at all times. Really slow, long runs without clear indication if I’m improving or just stumbling in the dark. Newgrounds style and humor hits different in 2026, not so much my cup of tea anymore.

Also just as a funny aside, this is Northernlion in 2012, it sounds like a totally different person!

Just as an example, it you look up ‘mummy infinite health Spelunky’ most of the videos look like this. I guess I just need to do it myself for game preservation sake.

But this is the first time I’m revisiting a game that came out after the creation of my channel, it still feels ‘modern’ to me and yet when watching videos of the era it feels ancient! Like it’s not SNES Let’s Plays, it’s only 10-12 years ago but is still enshrined in grainy history. I feel old lol
