Life's been hard lately, but sometimes the world dumps sculpting powder on you out of nowhere. :)

Aspiration is the answer. Not just “we’re not the bad guys.”

We need something more meaningful than that. I want a future worth fighting for. They have no vision. We do. Lean into our strengths and knock them out. 👊🏽

At the center of the universe is a loving heart that beats and wants the best for every person. Anything we can do to help foster the intellect, spirit, and emotional growth of our fellow human beings is our job. Those of us who have this vision must continue against all odds. Life is for service.

Nazis are bad. I think we should make that clear.

Do not allow yourself to abide evil. Call evil by its name when you see it. Let there be no peace in this life for those who practice evil. Defend virtue. Defend the vulnerable. Be the good the world is lacking.

But when we do evil, when we allow ourselves to be party to evil, a stain - like ink - is left on the tapestry. That stain will never come out, and everyone who becomes wrapped in the patterns of your tapestry will become stained as well.

I see Wyrd as a tapestry of stars, flowing behind us like a cloak, inexorably linked to everything we are and everything we have ever done. Every action we've ever taken, every action our ancestors took, every action of the people we choose to associate with, all dot the cloak with beautiful stars.

This has been an exceptionally difficult and frightening week. Check in with the people around you. You never know who might need that kindness.
