Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Found stray kittens in our backyard. Just in time for the cold to settle in tonight.

Rest in Peace, Jimmy Carter. He was a proud Georgian and American, and one of the most decent human beings to have inhabited this planet. What a legacy.
