Scheyer replaced 4 of 5 starters and all but two rotation players, and by all metrics has a historically good team led by freshmen. Team building and recruiting are also part of coaching, so is it all shrugged off because he started out with the Duke brand/history advantage three years ago?

Pope gets your vote because he rebuilt the roster, but so has Scheyer, and like Scheyer, he still had all the benefits of taking over at a blue blood with a rabid fanbase. Explain how they’re SO different that Pope is the #1 choice and Scheyer is not in consideration
