Retaliatory tariffs will not work. Its clear Trump and his supporters do not wish to import anything. Therefore companies exporting to the USA need to diversify customers, increase prices for US customers until they stop buying, which is their plan. It is clear that trade with the US will be gone.

Even if this fantasy tunnel system worked it would not resolve any traffic issues as there are no infrastructures, in the GTA that can handles on and off traffic from the 401.
