My 8 year old asked to tryout for the basketball team so he can play with his friends.

Im super excited, but also I’m very nervous for him. He’s autistic and this is first attempt at a team sport.

Kids can be so cruel and I want to protect him from that.

But I can’t coddle him. 😭

I was thinking the same thing!! This feels like unintentional foreshadowing.

I feel like watching him work is the best acting lesson.
