My family's ice parlour has a winter menu now and it involves waffles, crêpes, galettes, and selfmade pastries. They also want to add cinnamon rolls and cheesecake into the mix (of course with vegan variants as well) and it's just so cozy there. Also the galette was fire.

Thankfully, they're getting transferred to another hospital tomorrow. I'm just so angry sometimes bc I spent two months with a patient who worked their ass off to move a toe and this one is one of those who don't want to put the work in bc they have a spouse who cares for them.

ALSO reaaaally allergic when people question our experience. Like my work wife and I have 25 years under our belts (combined) and I've worked with 5000+ stroke patients since I started and got most of them back on their feet.

Today was a lot - like at one point my work wife and a nurse were close to tearing up and even I was close to getting really angry at one patient (I'm allergic against people who have all the necessary abilities to make a good recovery and rather get their ass wiped for the rest of their lives)
