I play favorites, so of course the Choki thread had to be the first 😌

Reo shook his head, not bothering to stifle his giggles.

“I love you more than anything,” Nagi said, closing the gap.

“Reo’s teasing me.”

Nagi’s arm slid away from Reo’s waist as Reo sat up and turned himself over onto his stomach. “I would never,” Reo said, breath ghosting against Nagi’s lips.

“Reo doesn’t know how I feel about him?” Nagi asked, leaning in.

“Like having a nice smile & being as tall as me specifically?” Reo pressed, smile growing wider. “I didn’t know you thought so highly of me.”

The realization hit Nagi slowly, his eyes growing wider the more he thought ab it. Of course Reo was the standard. Reo was his ideal. Reo knew that.

Not that he could really go anywhere when Nagi’s arm went straight back to its place before Reo could’ve thought to escape.

“I’m being dense, but you’ve been using me as a template for what kind of person Choki would be?”

“I was just naming good qualities…”

Reo smiled, holding eye contact. “Choki would be pretty?”

“Reo’s being dense on purpose.” Nagi detached his arm from Reo’s waist to poke the boy’s reddening cheek.

Reo scrunched his face up but didn’t otherwise attempt to move away from the touch.

Nagi really was so cute.

Nagi paused, considering. He looked down at Reo laying on his chest and wasn’t all that surprised to find Reo looking back up at him. “Yes,” he said, answering the question Reo asked him, and then, because he couldn’t help himself, said, “Pretty.”

“They’d have a nice smile, I think, and they’d be able to be friends with anyone.”

“What else?” Reo asked, nuzzling closer into Nagi’s side.

“Choki would be tall,” Nagi added. “Probably a little shorter than me, though.”

“So, like my height?” Reo asked, biting back a giggle.

Nagi shifted, pulling Reo a little closer with the movement. “Well,” he started, still squirming around as he to get comfortable again. “They’d be a good listener.”

Nagi felt Reo’s hum vibrate against his chest.

“They’d be really nice and smart, too.”

“Of course.”

It landed heavily, like a magnet meeting metal and clicking into place. Reo made a soft noise from the force of it. “See?”

Reo rolled his eyes despite the growing smile on his face, huffing a dry laugh. “I meant if Choki were a person,” he clarified.

“If Choki were real, what do you think they’d be like?”

“Choki is real, Reo,” Nagi replied after a long pause. He lifted his arm from where it was draped across Reo’s middle to point in the direction of the cactus before letting it fall.

If it’s not where I can see it all the time it basically doesn’t exist 🥹

both can be true, but Reo smiling first thing in the morning bc of whatever the hell Nagi sent makes me insane

One would assume the reason Reo wakes up to an absurd amount of notifications on his phone every morning is bc he’s the most beautiful perfect kindest funniest boy there is & everyone wants to talk to him, but it’s actually Nagi spamming every thought that enters his mind at 2am

the fact that almost all of these happen after Nagi said he didn’t care anymore makes me feel extra insane. I love you dearly Nagi Seishirou pls keep losing the idgaf war
