Avatar Size Limits | VRChat Creation Uploading a custom avatar is a great way to express yourself in VRChat. However, unoptimized avatars require more bandwidth, RAM, and VRAM, which decreases VRChat's performance.

Attention #VRChat avatar creators! Starting Nov 1st, certain hard limits will be enforced in-client: avatars over 200MB download size or 500MB uncompressed size will no longer load in-client. Please make sure your avatars are optimized!
