Graph depicting types of sheaths observed on anthro art over the past 20 years. Classic: is a realistic canine sheath that I first encountered in the early 2000s on sites like the VCL. Perky: describes a rounded stylized sheath that seemed almost ubiquitous on sites like FurAffintiy in the 2010s. Mellow: the latest innovation in sheaths, very similar to the perky variant, but with blunted tip and points downward, behaving more like a flaccid humanoid phallus. Appears to be a trend of the 2020s. #furryart

Has anybody else noticed? Or is this a highly specific experience?
