$20 sounds about right for a GBA game, tbh - i know people are happy they aren’t on NSO but as an expak owner i’m a bit bummed tbh. annoyed that it sets a precedent for GF to charge for these old games, but it’s whatever

honestly - the final ending of OT1 is so nonsensically hard, i wouldn’t blame you for just abandoning it :( but OT2 is definitely worth seeing through!!
i’ve heard the same about 0, i definitely want to play through some different games first though. 😬 final fantasy is calling my name…
after 102 hours of gameplay and over a year since I started, i’ve finally completed Octopath Traveler 2! although I have some complaints about the writing and VA, this was a fantastic gameplay experience that culminates in a much more satisfying ending than the first game. can’t wait to try OT0!

imo, a step down - mostly due to the repetitive nature of the gameplay loop...the story is cheesy as well, though the characters are still well written & have flashes of brilliance
that said i really enjoyed the ZA main story and thought it was the best written pkmn game tho, so a high bar to meet
