The US grows weaker every day, as federal agents target and detain children under the claim of fighting crime. Remember: human dignity is an inalienable right of all people. These govt actions reflect the deterioration of our democracy & the erosion of civil rights for everyone. Who is next?

I hope you’ll give us time to rebuild alliances and demonstrate mutual respect, though it’s clear this is going to take some time… I still believe in democracy and human rights, and we will restore these values with your patience.

On my own behalf (and a majority of Americans), I apologize sincerely to the people of the world. I didn’t vote for the guy, and I’ve protested often, but I acknowledge that we collectively as a country haven’t done enough to stop this madness.

Cato has published my comprehensive review of the ~240 Venezuelans the US government renditioned 2 months ago to Salvador’s notorious prison. We identified FIFTY who came legally, never violated any immigration law, but are imprisoned at the US government’s request and at US taxpayer expense.
