The areas will all be part of the same map in terms of progression, but the areas are separate islands. The player character goes from one to another.

Likely more detail, if only to fit with some of the default RPG maker assets which I might have to use for other things
when I think of what I mean, my mind goes to how the areas in Deltarune are sprited. Still kind of simple, but also detailed enough. Idk if that makes sense?

I’m thinking a bit of both options, cause it’ll depend on the area. The main areas are diverse, like a Classic Sonic game.
Probably cozy and colorful for the first area, though
