You're good. That stuff can absolutely build up and eat away at you if you're not careful. You kinda have to remove yourself to some extent for your own sanity. Otherwise it will consume you.

And likewise seeing your art always cheers me up on bad days, so it goes both ways. <3

The pixel remasters look fun. It'd be interesting to play a version of the game where, you know, all of the stats work. X D

I just beat the original Final Fantasy for the first time. My review:

-half the game literally didn't work
-the half that did work was super fun
-shocking amount of player expression for a 35 year old game
-The Ice Cave is the worst dungeon I've ever seen in a professional RPG
-Would play again~

Here are the first 90 card arts all put together. I think 100 is a good number for a base set, so I'll do the final 10 over the next month or two.

Also I want to do more promo cards featuring Friend's OCs and whatnot. I think that would be cute. Might hit up some mutuals about that later.~

With that, the last of my daily cards (at least for a while). I wanted to make it to 100 but I'm too burnt out. Still, 3 months is longer than expected. And I'll continue to make cards, just not at this pace for a bit.

I picked up a copy of the hobbit at a local thrift store for super cheap. Will finally give it a read and let you guys know how it goes.

Daily Card 089: Magic Staff

A simple one for today. The Wizard archetype is starting to come along.~

Master Quest was pretty fun. It's a difficulty mod that also has a lot of new content and some revamped areas. They also have a weenie edition (called master quest jr I think?) if you want the extra content but not the difficulty.

You guys remember the YuGiOh card "Poison of the Old Man"? I dunno why but that one always stuck with me. I think I just like the design a lot.

I have a distinct shortage of both Fire Mons and monkeys in my game, so thought I'd fix that. Wanted to base one off those japanese monkeys that really like hotsprings.

I like how this one turned out. He looks like he's about to teach you a new Bro's move.

Yeah, the way I'm implementing equipment they're pretty powerful so I thought that would help balance it. Plus shroud was always more interesting than hexproof, IMO
