Work in progress photography of the Neko Galaxy "BladeZero" miniature bust I'm currently painting.

In my painted take on the bust she's wearing a blue undershirt, a purple bolero, white hair, pale skin with black makeup as well as gree reticule shaped pupils on black eyeballs. There's also a small detail of Cyberpunk2077-inspired cyberware on the back of the nose and the metal details are painted in a very warm, orange-reading, non metal metallic, except for the knife, which is painted to look like sharp shiny steel. The holsters strapped on by plack belts, as well as the elbow pads are painted to resemble very worn out red leather, some of areas of them also being hit by the bright neon green object source light. The Pistols are painted in a bright steel with black leather details.

The figure depicted is a kind of futuristic assassin, posed in an attack-motion with one of its two daggers. It is sold by Neko Galaxy.

Horizontally split image showing miniature photography showcasing the base of the finished Telemon Heavy Dreadnought miniature.

The dreadnoughts armor is painted black with strong highlights, giving it a shiny quality, while those light reflections are painted to have a blue hue to them on the figures left side and a purple hue to its right. The pauldrons are made to look blue, however it blends into lower value purple the further it's turned away from the angles the light sources are coming in. Decorative details, like aquila symbols on chest and limbs as well as different forms of filigree are made to look silver. Accent details, like some glow effects, the eye and headlight lenses as well as the rocket tips showing through in the rocket battery placed on top of the dreadnought, are painted in bright magenta, which is slightly shaded with violet. Different heat effects, like the exhaust vents on its backside are glowing dimly in orange and red.

For the basing I went with a black/dark rock slab look with carved in runes that glows in a blue-green-yellow color blend, which also lights up the bottom-facing parts of the dreadnought according to that osl. The rest of the base is decorated with gnarled branches, crystal shaped rocks, tufts, an agave plant, a skull and a snake in hiding.

The photography was done in front of black fabric background and has a very low opacity CryoCheese icon in the bottom left corner.

This dread has been an absolute labor of love!

I bought the set in 2020 and magnetized everything above the waist with a total of 32 magnets making it half an action figure.

Back then I felt like waiting with the paintjob until I'm good enough to do her justice.

I believe I made past-me proud. 😊

I'm calling her finished!

It took 15 streams of roughly 6h of painting each, so ~90 hours total.

The color scheme is a custom one I chose 5-6 years ago for all my Custodes, but I think it still holds up nicely.

Miniature photography showcasing the work-in-progress paintjob status of my telemon dreadnought miniature. It's shot at a slight top-down angle prioritizing its right hand side.

The dreadnought is painted to be mostly shiny black armor, with some sharp highlights in white blended out with blues and purples and blue-purple shoulder pads. The decorative details are painted to look silver and there's accent coloration done in magenta, like the rocket tips, the headlights and eye lenses of the dreadnoughts head. It's placed above a rune on the base, which glows in a blue-green-yellow color blend, so the bottom parts of the dreadnought are lit up accordingly by that osl. Other, less intensive OSL details are purple, magenta, red and orange glows on vents, coils and other little details on weaponry and body.

I'm gonna try finishing the dreadnought today, but there's just so much left to do I believe it's not very likely to happen.

Collage showcasing the work-in-progress paintjob status of the Neko Galaxy "BladeZero" miniature bust I'm currently painting.

The main image is depicting the "dark"/back -side of the miniature bust, which is dominated by a bright green object source light. Placed around the bust, which is centered in the image, are four close-up images for certain details difficult to see in that first main image, which are placed within hexagonal frames.

In my painted take on the bust she's wearing a blue undershirt, a purple bolero, white hair, pale skin with black makeup as well as gree reticule shaped pupils on black eyeballs.

Details Details Details!

Made good progress this week, on almost all stipple-textured belts as well as the refinement of the many little metallic silver-y details on the front of her outfit.

The photography was done in front of grey background and has a very low opacity CryoCheese icon in the bottom left corner.

The miniature is produced and sold by Games Workshop.

Some steps can be a bit tedious, just like this.

Spent most of yesterdays stream sketching and edge-highlighting the additional weapon options for the Telemon.

Frontal work in progress photography of the Neko Galaxy "BladeZero" miniature bust I'm currently painting.

It's been a week of new mixed details.

- bottom of knife (hit by osl)
- cracked leather elbow pads
- pistol grip
- holster belt pt. 1

I'm quite happy with this update! 😊

Collage of two vertically separated work in progress photographies of the Neko Galaxy "BladeZero" miniature bust I'm currently painting.

The holsters hanging off her shoulders are meant to resemble very worn out red leather, one of them hit by the bright neon green object source light hitting her from the left and behind - on the otherwise dark side, compared to the main environmental light (sky/sun).

The figure depicted is a kind of futuristic assassin, posed in an attack-motion with one of its two daggers.

If we have free and fair midterm elections, Democrats will likely regain majorities in both the House and Senate.

Here’s a sampling of what would happen then:

- Impeachments:

Of Trump and some in his cabinet, especially Bondi, Patel, Vought and Noem. Pick any multitude of their crimes.

Ye makes sense! That's fair.

I also like to decypher these things myself by looking at other work. It's slower than being taught but feels like more of an accomplishment to me. Or an additional one, rather.

You got this!
