"Feels good" = getting to think more deeply about the user flow upfront, and iron out those kinks that become obvious once you start building the interface.
Hoping it will mean a more efficient workflow (less back and forth) and a better user facing product.
Less wagging of the dog by the tail π
Started a new project this week. I usually start with the back end, the core of what it βdoesβ, to know that I can get that working before hooking up to a UI.
This time Iβm building the front end out fully before I touch the back. Feels good.
How do you organise your time when building full stack?
MRR is bullshit.
I could hit $100k MRR in a month if I wanted to.
But I donβt β because I canβt afford it.
How? Iβd build an API that undercuts OpenAIβs by 20%, eat the cost difference, and boom β $100k MRR.
MRR means nothing unless you share your costs.

21.01.2025 11:18 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ah, I assumed you could just wildcard for the whole hostname but had never tried. Good workaround if you're willing to accept the risk
07.01.2025 11:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Isn't this bypassing a security feature designed to protect your server for being used for free optimisation?
And couldn't you just use a wildcard in remotePatterns in next.config to achieve the same thing ?
I'd pay $9.99 per month for a whatsapp feature which prevents people sending me voicenotes

29.11.2024 17:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0hey there - would love to get @bookmarkth.is added to this - one word bookmarking for Bluesky
Thanks :)
Please add @bookmarkth.is
Bookmarks for Bluesky
Thanks!
So I'm excited about the roadmap for a paid version if this gets some traction - adding a browser plugin and making it cross platform. Watch this space!
28.11.2024 20:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm sure a basic version of this feature will be added natively soon, but as I've been testing I've begun to realise the benefit of a more sophisticated solution, especially my attention is fragmented across different networks.
28.11.2024 20:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Just tag @bookmarkth.is on any post and it'll be added to your profile when you log in to bookmarkth.is.
Plus, you can add #hashtags to organise your bookmarks.
Itβs still a fairly early version and Iβd love some feedback.

*Bookmarking has come to Bluesky*
I started the week planning to build some Bluesky bots as a learning exercise. But it quickly became clear that (for now) there is a real need for a proper bookmarking solution.
Fast forward and I'm pleased to release the beta of @bookmarkth.is

I hadn't seen this tutorial, looks useful
Have you implemented it ?
There is a spec and a roadmap in developer preview phase but nothing that can be plugged into without rolling your own...one of the challenges of a decentralised prototcol
docs.bsky.app/blog/oauth-a...
Very nice !
Have you had any thoughts yet about the "Auth with Bluesky" part ? I'm trying to build something (not related to comments) but lack of oauth a big pain point
