am i just upset that the local giant mall that i spent a bit of my late childhood going to is at risk of shutting its doors for good soon? yeah.
hopefully the renovation plans go through instead of losing it for good. its the last indoor mall we really have here... all the rest are gone.

additionally the death of the indoor mall and the heavy ramifications of climate change on outdoor activities, though these were more impactful on us (millennials + early gen z) than they have been on late z + alpha.

every time i think that late gen z + all of gen alpha are cooked, i have to remember that covid, the aggressive spread of misinformation via social media, TWO trump presidencies, the death of online made-for-kids spaces, + gen ai have all occurred in some of the most important years of their growth
