The last three years were the hottest on record. Americans are already paying through record hurricanes, wildfires, and floods. This moment demands collective action. Instead, Trump retreated.

The Paris Agreement is the global pact where nearly 200 countries committed to limit warming and protect our planet. It helped bend the projected warming curve from a catastrophic ~4°C to ~2.7°C. Progress like that doesn’t happen without collective action.

Today, President Trump’s withdrawal of the United States from the Paris Agreement becomes official. It’s a step backward for American leadership.
