I get to go to the Story Spark writing retreat--3 days of fun, friends, and lots of writing. My goal is to finish all my final edits for my NF, send it to my editor, and dive back into my fantasy romcom.

Alright, #writingcommunity, I've got a dark mermaid suspense short story I'm releasing as soon as I pick a cover. FWIW, MC isn't a typical pretty mermaid and the setting is deep and dark. Which is a better cover for a story like that?
