Just so every bit of vitriol they muster and criticism they post citing it can be responded to with "well someone clearly enjoyed the game enough to complete it".

Anything above 128gb is an actually unbelievable lie and even that value is sketchy. Fake ones report being large but fill em up and lose most your data. What a time to be alive.

Hmm this note doesn't seem worth wasting a notebook page on, I'm going to get a lose scrap of paper I can lose to write it on instead. Notebook becomes placemat for pile of lose notes.

I think about this post a lot - whether you agree with its premise or not - because I really do think it's important for people to develop a radar growing up about what is and isn't real on the internet, especially given that old gens never did that and have almost no internet literacy whatsoever.

07.05.2025 00:39 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Plenty of monster catcher spin off games on the market now. But I don't think we've seen an adventure game yet. The idea of having to have different mons on your team to solve different adventure puzzles in place of inventory items is fertile ground.

Reinforced neck, no sharp corners on the bottom to dig into your palm when you are shovelling away. Nice flat surfaces all over for easy cleaning. Remove that brand stamped into the base and there is no where for bacteria to hide.
04.05.2025 13:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It costs a pretty paltry annual sum to support the Game Preservation Society, which has been doing the heavy lifting of safeguarding Japan's game history. It's a shame they're in such dire straits, so if you've got the ability to help support I highly recommend it.

14.04.2025 03:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Environmental harm, overtaxing the electrical retail market, providing tools for conmen, money laundering, damaging peoples ability to filter real from fake information online, bloating markets with shovel ware... Pick a number of strikes. Question is, when does it stop being fair?
14.04.2025 02:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The core of this debate comes down to fairness. The images used to train the AI model in question were pirated. That's strike 1 (avoidable but it happened). It disrespect the wishes and legacy of creators of those art. That's strike 2. The purpose is to create a market that bypasses those creators.
14.04.2025 02:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Did the brickmaker get paid? Was the work of the other builders respected? Was financial inequality for the barrier of entry to become a home owner between the new owner and the old avoided? Is downloading a copy of a videogame without paying the creators piracy? What about selling those copies?
14.04.2025 02:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Maybe at a particle level it's trivial? That said if I was a brickmaker, the builder who made those other houses or just someone who had to pay for my own home to be built with material costs... Feeling pissed off is probably justified regardless.
14.04.2025 02:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lets look at it another way. If I steal a brick from your house. And from your neighbour's house. And all the houses across town. And I build a house out of them. Is my house made out of stolen materials or does the individual on individual pettiness of the theft nullify that? How about 1/2 a brick?
