I printed a giant stack of papers related to the background of my research during grad school. Having them printed out seemed to help not only with digesting the information but also seemed to help with having good memory/recollection of those specific studies during my time in the lab

Digging #tagheuer aquaracer 200 solargraph titanium #watches. I love how the design elements can be traced back to the #heuer 3000 series diver (like the 1984 version I own on the right), specifically the dodecagon bezel, bezel font and even the cases are similar. Photo credit (left): Gerald Chew

Lovely image. Tangentially, as a bald dude, is there a future where a monolayer of thousands of these follicles will be transplant-able for hair transplants?! ๐Ÿซฃ

What a great article. Back in my first few years of grad school, I had a couple of grad courses that required learning the history of a protein or field (tight junction for example). I think in addition to staying up to date in the field, knowing the history/story of a field is equally enjoyable.

That is amazing ๐Ÿ‘. If I was a protein scientist I'd want my protein of interest sculpture!

For ICC: Cox4 clone 4d11 stains nice too. Also hsp60 clone lk1 works and does BD Biosciences anti-tom20 clone 29.

Not a mitochondria expert but the above images great in my hands.

We (old PI and fellow labbies) were at a conference except one labbie. We got her to April fools message our PI that she accidentally used a can of air duster on our lab scope, specifically the liquid propellent got onto the main objective and cracked it. She almost gave him a heartache in the end.
