Palaeocampa, unlike its unarmoured aysheaiid relatives, was protected by thousands of tall sclerite bristles, with a thorny, crenellated tip. In many fossils, the sclerites have a discoloured halo of fluid emerging from the tip - we investigated this with a technique called FTIR.

I would love to share on social media my excitement about what Perseverance has found on Mars - some of it presented at the LPSC meeting this month. On the other hand, a French scientist has allegedly been blocked by border agents from attending LPSC because they had privately criticised Trump.
