This is a win for Vermont families and small businesses who have been impacted by rising costs caused by the President’s unlawful tariffs. This is also a win for the rule of law - the Court held that the President cannot usurp authority the Constitution vests in Congress.

Today the Supreme Court ruled in favor of our multistate coalition declaring President Trump’s broad tariffs unconstitutional. The Court held that IEEPA does not authorize the President to impose tariffs - a tax on Americans.

Again and again, the Trump Administration illegally terminated grants created by Congress in violation of our Constitution. President Trump wants to stifle renewable energy generation because he is living in the past.

I will never stop fighting for our rights to control our own bodies, and that includes access to gender-affirming care for transgender youth. Contrary to what Secretary Kennedy claims, the major medical organizations agree that gender-affirming care is safe and effective.
