Pretty much everyone loses out of this. The students suing had a terrible experience and very little thanks for the sacrifice they made for older adults. The people who worked like mad to keep education going feel kicked in the teeth. And institutions just cannot afford these lawsuits.

We keep our rice cooker (and stand mixer) in a cupboard and pull them out when required. Big rice cooker doesn’t want you to know this is an option but it totally is

I don't know how people survive without a rice cooker.

They are the greatest invention of all time, behind the wheel and maybe chips.

The students claiming uni Covid compensation 'for the principle' Dozens of universities have received legal letters over what students say they missed out on during Covid.

This is causing despair in academe. (1) We were forced to close during Covid. We had no choice! (2) We're not service providers like a restaurant, we are institutions of state. (3) We did everything we could. (4) This will cripple current students' education.

The station staff told me I was really lucky that someone handed it in because otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to phone myself and they wouldn’t have been able to get it back to me.

I always try and return things to people so I’m really glad someone did the same for me!

A couple of years back, I dropped my wallet on Streatham Common, while my little boy was in his buggy. Couldn’t find it anywhere. A lovely man found it, tracked me down and returned it to my flat, several miles away, the same day.

Will not hear a word against that great city and its kind people.

Measles spreads easily. Ensuring you and your loved ones are up to date with your MMR or MMRV jabs is the best protection. Contact your GP to get vaccinated.
