Revering Books as Objects completely misses the point of what they’re for. The only rule I had with books when my kids were small, was that they weren’t to be written or scribbled on, since that makes them illegible. Otherwise, they could knock themselves out.

My daughter’s hotel allows dogs in one specific area of the restaurant. The problem is that they often don’t say they’re bringing a dog, so they arrive for a meal & the dog area is full. Then they kick off.
