So you do care then.

The rules apply to all, but yes there should be a low limit on it.

It went to people they thought were the most in need, not as much to the population of the richest country on earth that really should be looking after its own.

No one is a saint, he's just not as bad as the others.

What a pointless graph when there are regional only parties in there.

You need separate graphs for England, Wales, Scotland and N Ireland otherwise its almost pointless.

Tenure, at a games company?

When I worked there everyone worked long hard hours, including technical and art directors. The people I did work with that are still there appear to be in those roles today. I have zero contact with them, but I don't imagine their work attitude has changed much.

Well of course. That's always how charity donations work.

If successive US governments had actually listened to him over the years they may have actually tried to fix the terrible tax system. Its hardly his fault they haven't.

Just enough? He's probably given away more money than anyone in history FFS!

12.11.2025 07:28 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

How do you know he has or hasn't already? Aren't tax affairs private?

12.11.2025 07:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Who said it was? You complain guy has too much money, even though the same guy has been asking for a fairer tax system for years, then complain that he is giving it away to various charities.

List of assets owned by Berkshire Hathaway - Wikipedia

Do you know how many subsidiaries they own?

I stopped counting way before half way:

How do you know if he does or does not?

12.11.2025 07:20 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Because its his money, that he earned and has paid all of his taxes on.

Why do you get to decide where your money goes?

12.11.2025 07:20 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

So lets get this straight, the man who has long since said rich people should be paying more in taxes is being blamed for giving his money away, because the very tax system he wants to change gives him a tax break?

Really?

12.11.2025 07:19 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

$3.5m out of $36bn.

How many zeros is that when expressing as a percentage? Oh look, it doesn't fit on the calculator.

12.11.2025 07:17 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

He's not doing this for tax purposes.

He's given over $36bn alone to the Gates foundation for starters.

He also gives to the foundation he started with his first wife that gives out college scholarships.

I would rather they all paid taxes, but Buffett is far from the worst rich guy going.

"Warren Buffett..has long been a vocal advocate for tax equity, emphasizing that the wealthy &large corporations should pay their fair share..has made clear that his company's outsized tax paymentsβ€”at $26.8 billion in 2024, it was the largest tax payment in U.S. historyβ€”are a point of pride for him"

11.11.2025 18:02 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

He's given over 60bn away.

11.11.2025 18:00 β€” πŸ‘ 10    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 4    πŸ“Œ 0

"Warren Buffett's charitable giving over the past two decades now totals around $60 billion"

"Warren Buffett admits his Giving Pledge philanthropy was not 'feasible'β€”he's instead left his three kids $500 million a year to *give away*"

Buffett himself has called for higher taxes for the rich.

11.11.2025 15:31 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

To be fair to Buffet, he has long said the rich should be taxed more.

Although I think some do remain.

So was this a local decision from R* North, or from higher up than that.

I used to work (briefly) at Rockstar, I don't recognise any of these faces (I left quite a while ago!), & many of the old faces have also left. There are still some very good people inside that building & I am left wondering who made this decision. Most of the management have changed since my day

I didn't say you didn't need a military, but the sums spent on it in its current state are obscene, while you don't have healthcare etc, and yet still some of those military employees are on SNAP.

If he truly thinks that tariffs have brought in 3 trillion dollars (LOL), then they should have the money already. So genius, where is it?

The vast majority of UK news media is right to far right wing. They are the ones mainly peddling the "BBC is biased to the left" message, which shows the bias in these answers.

Meanwhile the BBC endlessly gives extreme right wingers a platform and the ex-head of news, plus most managers, are Tories

Some of those numbers are not actually that large, to me as a non-American. My 3 bedroom, not at all fancy, flat has a valuation about the same as Fetterman there, and here in Singapore an entry-level government minister would earn that every 2 years (approx USD840,000 a year)
