The bottom line is Trump sacrificed 8 American lives (& counting) and more than 1,000 Iranian lives (& counting) for nothing. He hurt the US & global economies, destabilized the Middle East, & will pull out with the same Iranian regime in power. There's no silver lining.

A senseless, criminal waste

Da fuq is this circular logic? He wanted to (allegedly) free them from their oppressive regime, but now he’s not going to free them because they’re not behaving to his liking, because they live under an oppressive regime.

If you are watching Trump's presser right now, you are seeing beyond reasonable doubt a person not mentally suited for any position of responsibility. Even running a small store.

GOP members of the House and Senate: You are seeing this too.

Good thing to remember online right now is that everyone here is very emotionally dysregulated and dealing with that by posting

This whole shoe affair reminds me of the ways that Trump cheats at golf

Which, he's not like how normal people cheat at golf: the purpose of Trump's cheating is to make sure everyone else has a bad time

James Talarico speaks against forcing teachers to post the Ten Commandments in every classroom
YouTube video by James Talarico James Talarico speaks against forcing teachers to post the Ten Commandments in every classroom

This guy won’t understand it, but for everyone coming over here from Kevin Kruse’s account, please watch this video. Talarico makes the case for Separation of Church and State in a brilliant way.

He uses his faith to explicitly fight back against Christian Nationalism

According to #MarkwayneMullin, nukes are like sourdough bread starter, as long as you have a little left over, you can start a new batch that will be ready in 2 weeks!

Based on what I read from the #WhiteHouse in June 25, 2025 vs what I heard from Mullin, the Iranian #nukes were 2 weeks away!

a tan long-haired dachshund with incredibly floofy ears sits with his front paws on a window sill and his nose pressed up against the window. he's accompanied by his stuffed squirrel friend. their reflections stares back at them. Stevie the dachshund does not see the irony in watching for squirrels with his squirrel friend. he's too busy being locked in on the happenings outside his window.

This is Stevie. He's on squirrel watch. His stuffed friend is also a squirrel, but he's one of the good ones. 14/10 (IG: longdogstevie)

Administration: It's unfair to criticize members of ICE because there are good people working for them.

Me: The fact that they're willingly working for ICE is prima facie evidence that their status as "good people" is questionable.

But it won’tβ€”not in 2026.

Even soβ€”call, complain, speak up, push back.

This puts me at 10 people released. I filed my 1st habeas petition 29 days ago. I am an incredibly small-time, nobody lawyer who knew nothing about immigration law the day I submitted that case. I barely know any more today. I had never sued the federal government and now I've beaten them 10 times.

Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent had insisted just a few days ago that oil sanctions relief on Russia was a β€œdeliberately short-term measure".

I guess now we know what Trump's call with Putin this afternoon was about.

And still, no articles of impeachment from Democratic house members.
Who cares if it fails? GO ON RECORD OPPOSING THIS EVIL SHIT!
And impeach his cabinet members too. We need to start building the record of their crimes.

This is the most blasΓ© admission of a war crime by a US president in history.

Trump has just disclosed, without prompting, that the US Military committed a war crime - literally just to brag & make his Republican audience laugh about unnecessarily killing 100+ Iranians instead of capturing them.

Are these guys really dumb enough to wear the too-big shoes he got them, instead of just quietly getting a pair in the right size and then telling him "love the new shoes, boss, you totally got my size right, just like we all knew you would"?
