I am by no means a true crime person, but I cannot stop thinking about the Hallford case and having read the court documents, the extent to witch these people profited off their frankly bizarre crimes is so small compare to want to would have cost them to just…not have done that in the first place

The only time I’ll ever be genuine online: there’s a lot that’s hard and weird about having a mom who’s not perfect by a long stretch and navigating how to work through that, especially with siblings, despite your own flaws. This show taps into that like nothing else I’ve seen.

Long Story Short is everything I hoped it would be and Netflix is doing a terrible job promoting it so this is my part to tell people to please go watch it. It’s genuine and hilarious and just -gets- the specific baggage of Mommy Issues™️
