As someone who is asexual and the kind of ace who doesn't really find sex appealing I surprisingly find kink (and especially hypnokink) to be incredibly enjoyable. I love that there is a way that I could have the emotional intimacy with another person that sexual relationships provide while also doing something fun and admittedly very hot. (In an ace way) Part of me, however, does feel a bit of insecurity over existing in hypnokink spaces. The vast majority of the aces I am aware of who are into this stuff are either neutral/favorable towards having sex or I am not sure what their opinions are. I always find myself wondering if someone like me even really belongs in this community or if others would even understand? I may just be overthinking, as is often the case.
