Pow’s first award! Thanks Nevada City Film Festival!

We’re having our Pow! Oregon premiere at @thepfcat.bsky.social 2025! Our screening is August 9th at OMSI at 2pm and I’m speaking on a panel about distribution at 4pm! I’m so excited to screen in Portland, near my Cowlitz homeland. If you’re in the area I hope you come out! Info in the pic!

Pow! is an official selection for Indy Shorts International Film Festival! I’m VERY humbled that this is our 8th Oscar qualifying film festival to screen at. Check us out in Indianapolis on July 27th at 12:45 PM as part of the Kids Program!

Pow! is coming to SDCC! We’re screening on Friday, July 25th at 11:20am followed by a special panel with myself, actor Jim Ruel, composer Jordan Kamalu and moderated by @goldie.bsky.social ! I’m so excited that my short film with a big Native heart is an official San Diego Comic-Con selection!

It was so fun screening Pow! in Pembroke, NC for LFF and to reconnect with Spirit Rangers alumni Eric Michael Hernandez and Terry Goedel ! Hoop dancing is so cool and Terry and Eric are two of the best doing it. You should seek them out if you get a chance!

Belated Nevada City Film Festival Photo Dump! NCFF is a fun festival in a very cute town. It’s run by great people who love film and treat filmmakers right. 10/10 fest would screen again!

I’ve spent the past few weeks as a fellow in the NAMA Native American Showrunner Program and it’s so fun! NAMA is an organization working to elevate Indigenous creatives all over the place. Their programs are really helpful and I strongly recommend checking them out!
