Solid win and performance. We need more of these performances this season.

Honestly we need another big summer again. Not because last summer was bad but more due to the inactivity of prior summers. Our net spend is still way below lots of other clubs in the past 5 years. We didn't add any depth to our team last summer.

Slot isn't going anywhere so we should just behind the team and manager. If he continue getting output out of Wirtz, Ekitike and Salah we should be able to get top 4 but our injuries and depth aren't helping.

Yeah just hope you get a disinterested Rashford as he's proven himself lol. Yamal can be nullified.

You'd give Barcelona a game tbf. I wouldn't fear anyone especially as playing at St James Park is a nightmare.

I think you'll get through. PSG are probably the best of the teams you could face and you gave them a match. Hopefully you can get an easy draw.

It really does feel like our major signings bar Isak have found their feet in the last month or so.

Hopefully he can bring more balance to the team. It feels like Wirtz, Frimpong and Kerkez have settled in much more since Mo has been gone. Wirtz and Salah have potential to form a great relationship.

So after watching Burnley I felt we were unlucky to not win. We had enough chances and had we made better decisions could have opened them up more. We need to learn to get Wirtz involved more centrally and get Kerkez and Frimpong in positions where they can take on the full backs.

We also need to be careful of the home grown quota as well.

We're taking a gamble if we don't bring any reinforcements in. If miss out on Champions League the club will only have themselves to blame.

Wasn't a great performance but all our goals were pretty good. Nice to see Frimpong scoring his first goal. Wirtz continuing his output and Ekitike back is always good to see.

I feel like yesterday's performance was one of our best given the circumstance. It's a bitter blow to lose Bradley to another injury. Hopefully we can take some momentum from the performance.

Well they didn't replacing Diaz because of Rio? Still not sure i buy that. We did try for a CB in Guehi but yeah shouldn't have left it till deadline day.

I think they took a gamble on the strikers neglecting other positions. With Isak and Ekitike you're set for 5 years with one of the best prime ST and best potential ST. Might be worth it in the long run but short term its a gamble.

I don't think we should compare ourselves to Arsenal's squad. Arteta is in his 6th season and built it over 6 years. They also have spent over £300m more in net spend on transfers over the past 5 years. We're in a rebuilding phase. Different transfer approaches.

Yeah Trent was a generation talent and creative force and the club were trying to replace that with Wirtz but we've not figured out how to play and build around him. We needed two strikers though and with Ekitike and Isak you've boxed in two of the best strikers for the next 5 years.
