I think there are many misconceptions about AI: the biggest being that they will eventually become sentient or conscious. IMO. They'll only become emotional if we make them appear that way. They'll never have emotions of their own. They are just circuits.

100%. Most of the Indies are women, and that seems to be rather intentional. We instinctively mistrust white men in suits. There are dodgy female pollies but fewer in number.
