I grew up playing Pokemon RBY. I must of had some absolute patience as a kid leveling my Pokemon up because DAMN it’s a grind in FireRed at the beginning.
Makes me somewhat appreciate the team EXP Share automatically enabled in modern games…

Dragon Quest 7 is still pretty damn good
I’ll always remember when i got my copy of Super Mario Sunshine here.
My mom took me there once and we browsed like always. And each time we walked by the GameCube section, I’d be ogling the game. We didn’t have a lot of money, but she got it for me anyways. I still have it, and always will.
Nothing like some Dragon Quest 7, fresh coffee, and the sound of two boys screaming throughout the house to start off the day 😁

I might just be a Dragon Quest fan now…the VII demo was solid. So these games go on sale frequently on eShop, right?

Is Doom: The Dark Ages worth the discount if I’m planning to play on Steam Deck?
Price drop is super tempting here….
Bethesda having their games on here is a gimme. I AM shocked no Persona or Metaphor ports discussed. Also surprised there weren’t any updates on third-party game coming to the Classic libraries either.
Overall, direct was fine if you had tempered expectations going into it to begin with (3/3)
Overall, anyone coming into this direct thinking there would be a slew of world premier games was set up for disappointment. Companies wanna have their current games on new tech.
We want that so future releases are simultaneous. Plus, it’s good experience with seeing S2 capabilities (2/3)
Nintendo Partner Direct Summary:
- Lots of ports coming to Switch 2 (FF7 Rebirth, Fallout 4, Oblivion Remastered)
- RE 7-9 coming 2/26
- No Atlus presence, which is weird
I think this was a safe direct that plays a lot of catch up on getting current-gen games on new hardware. (1/3)

It’s Nintendo Partner Direct day!!! Hopefully we’ll see Fallout finally making its way to the Switch, and probably something Persona-related. And a shadow drop of some type.

This is probably one of the cooler things over learned about video game history in a bit.
Considering this led to so many things (physical game collections, game sharing, etc.), it’s safe to say Jerry Lawson left an incredible legacy.
