The PlayStation 2 turns 25 years old today. What a cool system that was.

These are some of my favorite games for that system. 🎮✨

Haven’t posted much due to work but during my spare time, I’ve found myself immersed in Legends ZA.

There’s something fresh about the combat that I’ve been wanting. Actual battles with movement and attacks.

Give me this, Legends Arceus’ exploration and Paldea’s singular, large map.

Peak Pokemon

Absolutely WILD to think Halo, an Xbox flagship franchise, will now be on PlayStation. That’s like Pokemon being playable on either Xbox or PS.

I mean, the writing was on the wall after Gears, but it’s a whole other level seeing it confirmed.

First impressions of Pokemon Legends: Z-A (Switch 2):

- Buttery smooth
- Combat is very different - and I LOVE it
- Graphics are fine. Definitely held back due to Switch 1
- Tutorial goes a bit long
- Very diff. experience from Arceus (but good)

Overall, solid 8/10 experience so far, 2.5 hours in

If you could recommend people to play only ONE Final Fantasy, which one would it be and why?

Mine would be XVI - fantastic story, bombastic events, solid (divisive) gameplay, and though most are a miss, some very good side quests.

Still a 10/10 in my heart

The amount of nostalgia I have for Pokemon in general is overwhelming. I grew up on both carts and my Glacier Purple Game Boy Color

Ah yes, good, big win.

Not unexpected but good lord, gaming as a hobby is getting more and more expensive. Gonna be a long time before I upgrade to the next gen Xbox or PlayStation…only a matter of time until Nintendo ups the Switch 2 prices ☠️

Right off the bat, I miss my sprinting and Omegas. I’m so thrown off and used to Hades 2, it’s not even funny

Hmmmmm how many cleared runs can I get in Hades before 9/25? 🧐

Choice paralysis is an absolute bear. Been there and it SUCKS

Mad respect to the iron will. EA was just a fun experience because I wasn’t able to for the original. Watching it grow and develop, gradually adding features I had been waiting to return and completely new things was a treat.

Be hype. For a first-time sequel from SuperGiant, they cooked well.
