Yeah, I stream on my phone straight from my desktop. As long as my PC is on, it works. It automatically converts bitrate based on my connection, too, which is good so I don't have to fuck around in settings if I'm in bad signal area

Plex is the software I use to run my home media server from my desktop PC. I can stream anywhere & share my collection with anyone with a Plex account. PlexAmp is their dedicated music app. I've never paid for music streaming (dork luddite who wants to own music they like) so PA is perfect for me
